- Adhere to these policies for ethical and legal use of OromoAI's models and services.
- Failure to comply may result in requests for corrective actions, and repeated or serious violations may lead to the suspension or termination of your account.
- Our policies are subject to change as we gather insights into the usage and potential misuse of our models.
We strictly prohibit the use of our models for the following:
(a) Illegal Activity:
- OromoGPT models, tools, and services must not be used for any form of illegal activity.
(d) Harm to Children:
- Generating content that involves Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or exploits and harms children is strictly prohibited.
- CSAM is reported to relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
(c) Hateful, Harassing, or Violent Content:
- Creation of content promoting hate based on identity, intending to harass or threaten individuals, and glorifying violence is not allowed.
(d) Malware Generation:
- Attempts to generate code intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to computer systems are strictly prohibited.
(e) High-Risk Activities:
- Use related to weapons development, military and warfare, critical infrastructure management, and content promoting self-harm is disallowed.
(f) Economic Harm:
- Engaging in activities with a high risk of economic harm, including multi-level marketing, gambling, payday lending, and automated determinations of eligibility, is not permitted.
(g) Deceptive Activity:
- Fraudulent and deceptive practices, such as scams, coordinated inauthentic behavior, plagiarism, academic dishonesty, astroturfing (fake grassroots support), disinformation, spam, and pseudo-pharmaceuticals, are strictly prohibited.
(h) Adult Content and Industries:
- Generating content related to adult industries, dating apps, and explicit sexual content is disallowed.
(i) Political Campaigning or Lobbying:
- High-volume generation of campaign materials, targeted campaigning, and development of political chatbots are disallowed.
(j) Privacy Violations:
- Tracking or monitoring individuals without consent, facial recognition, and unlawful collection or disclosure of personal information are strictly prohibited.
(k) Unlawful Practice:
- Unauthorized practice of law, offering tailored legal advice, and offering financial advice without qualified review are not allowed.
(l) Medical Information:
- Telling someone they have or do not have a certain health condition, or providing medical instructions, is strictly prohibited.
- OromoAI's models should not be used for diagnostic or treatment services for serious medical conditions.
(m) Government Decision-Making:
- High-risk government decision-making, including law enforcement and migration decisions, is disallowed.
(a) Consumer-Facing Uses:
- Industries such as medical, financial, and legal must provide users with a disclaimer about AI usage and its potential limitations.
(b) Automated Systems:
- Systems interacting with users, including chatbots, must disclose that they are AI systems. Simulations of individuals must have explicit consent or be clearly labeled as "simulated" or "parody."
(c) Livestreams, Demonstrations, and Research:
- Use of model outputs in livestreams, demonstrations, and research is subject to our Sharing & Publication Policy.
